Everything you need to know

What file types can I upload?

PNG, JPG, and SVG up to 10 MB. Black-on-white silhouettes and high-contrast logos give the cleanest results, but iGrinder handles full photos too — it converts brightness into depth.

What 3D printers does this work with?

Any printer that accepts STL files — which is essentially all of them. We've tested Bambu Lab, Prusa, Creality, Elegoo, Anycubic, and Formlabs. The STL imports cleanly into Cura, PrusaSlicer, Bambu Studio, Lychee, and Chitubox.

Do I really own the file forever?

Yes. Once you pay $9, the STL is yours — download it, print it, modify it, share it with your slicer, archive it for 20 years. There's no DRM, no recurring charge, no expiring link.

Can I use the STL commercially?

Yes — commercial license is included at no extra cost. Sell what you print, use it in client work, list it on Etsy, give it as a wedding favor. Just don't redistribute the raw STL as your own product.

Is there a refund?

30-day no-questions refund. If the file isn't what you expected, email jason@designmainline.com and we'll refund the $9. We'd rather lose a sale than leave you frustrated.

How is my payment information handled?

Payments run through Stripe, the same processor used by Shopify, Lyft, and Amazon. Card details never touch our servers — Stripe is PCI-DSS Level 1 certified (the highest tier). All traffic is HTTPS-encrypted end-to-end.

Does my image leave my browser?

No. The 2D-to-3D conversion runs entirely client-side in WebGL. Your image is processed locally on your device and only the resulting STL is generated. We don't store your uploads.
